Our teammate Wojciech Krauze has won a prestigious ERC Starting Grant 2025! His project Re.HOT – Reflection Holographic Tomography will develop holographic tomography in reflection mode, aiming to obtain 3D refractive index maps without isolating patient samples.
The project aims to develop holographic tomography in reflection mode, enabling the same high-quality 3D structural information as classical transmission tomography, but without isolating patient samples. The initial focus is on the cornea of the eye — a transparent tissue that is both accessible for study and highly relevant clinically, where precise diagnostics could unlock new applications in medicine.
