Curriculum Vitae
In the year 2004 I started my studies at the Faculty of Physics, Warsaw University of Technology. I received the MSc. Eng. degree in June 2009 for a work related to design of pure-phase holographic elements for imaging with extended depth of focus. In October 2009 I started my PhD studies in the Optics and Photonics Division at the same faculty. My primary focus was on modeling of polarization state of polychromatic stochastic light passing through non-imaging (fiber-optic or bulk) multi-sectioned systems containing elements characterized by highly dispersive linear birefringence. I also contributed to a development project related to design of a multi-point fiber-optic vibration sensor for composite structures. I defended my PhD thesis in June 2013. In August 2013 I was hired at Photonics Engineering Division, Faculty of Mechatronics, WUT as a postdoctoral scholar in the TEAM project „Phase microscopy and tomography – new approach to 3D measurements of biological and technological structures (3DPHASE)”.
