The Warsaw University of Technology’s CEZAMAT Center for Advanced Materials and Technology hosted the finale of the Tech-Athon 2023 „Engineers for Society” event on the weekend of May 26-28. The event was organized by the PW Doctoral School, the PW Innovation Center and the PW CEZAMAT.

Maria Baczewska and Michał Ziemczonok took part in Photonics West 2023 conference. They gave 2 presentations: Multiscale and multipurpose phantoms for 2D/3D quantitative phase imaging (Ziemczonok) and Quantitative phase imaging supported by Raman micro-spectroscopy for identifying and quantifying changes in myeloid cells treated with proteasome inhibitor (Baczewska).
Our PhD student, Michał Gontarz was in CEA Leti in Grenoble, France with a 2 week (9.01.2023-20.01.2023) scientific visit. He cooperated with the CEA Leti REVEAL team on machine learning algorithms for processing of images that we capture in the project (e.g. for 2D and 3D segmentation). Thanks to our partners in Grenoble for this great opportunity!
Prof. Małgorzata Kujawińska was invited to give a plenary talk about „Metrology at 3D Quantitative Phase Imaging at cellular level” on New Trends in Metrology conference in Lublin.
Prof. Kujawińska was invited to be a part of 25th Congress ICO of WOLS and to give a talk about „Metrological aspects of Quantitative Phase Imaging”.
Our leader prof. Małgorzata Kujawińska took part in conferencie SPIE Optics & Photonics in San Diego, 21-25 August 2022 and presented work „Metrological assessment of reconstruction accuracy in holographic tomography”.
Our colleague Maria Baczewska took part in conference Digital Holography and Three-Dimentional Imaging and presented her work on „Herbal compounds influence on refractive index of neuroblastoma cells based on holographic tomography measurements”.
Our colleague Arkadiusz Kuś took part in World’s Leading Trade Fair with Congress for Photonics Components, Systems and Applications 2022 in Munchen. He presented our tomographic system.
