Biography
I am an Assistant Professor and Deputy Director of the Institute of Micromechanics and Photonics at the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT). As a member of the BioPhase Imaging Group, my research focuses on the development of algorithms for quantitative phase imaging (QPI), holographic tomography (HT), and optical coherence tomography (OCT), with a particular emphasis on solving inverse problems and advancing tomographic reconstruction methods. I am currently the Principal Investigator of the ERC Starting Grant project "Quantitative reflection holographic tomography for in-vivo analysis of biological specimens" (Re.HOT). I also lead the WUT team in the Horizon 2020 project REVEAL. Furthermore, I am the primary contributor to EWALD, an advanced open-source software dedicated to optical diffraction tomography reconstruction. I earned my MSc and PhD from the Mechatronics Department at WUT. My doctoral research focused on the numerical analysis of biological microsamples using limited-angle optical tomography.
